Messenger from the Deep

An elegant shamanic spirit vessel with a shape-shifting presence, Messenger from the Deep reveals something different from every angle.  This felt and free‑hand machine‑embroidered sculpture sits at the meeting point of the natural world, mythology, and the unseen — a piece that invites you to decide what story it’s telling.   Viewers have imagined it a creature rising from the depths of the ocean, a frog prince, a dragon's heart, a magnified pollen grain, a seed or fungal fruiting body, a messenger or portal into another world.  

Its form evokes transformation, movement, release, and emergence — a sense of something alive in the act of becoming.
