Spiral Slide Vessel
Hand-dyed wet-felted wool with freehand machine embroidery on soluble fabric.
This 25 × 18 × 21 cm sculptural form was inspired by a fairground spiral slide: steps ascend one side, while a tubular chute coils downward on the other. In the spirit of the fun of the fairground, marbles can be released at the top of the chute and caught as they exit below.
Partially stiffened with PVA.
